The project deals with creation of a new type of hospital bed for children with three sides. It would be attached to the bed of a mother to achieve continuous contact between her and her baby. The fourth side of the bed would be removable. Continuous contact of skin to skin is a basis for successful start of breastfeeding and solid mutual relationship. Newborn feels the mother very closely so she can hold and caress baby during the sleep as well. The new bed allows mother to react more simply and fluently to her child`s needs. She can take care of baby without manipulation and movement which is inevitable in nowadays enclosed cribs.
