Connext

Startup Connext solves the problem of presenting physical products for small and medium-sized companies in the environment of 3D configurators. Since often the number of variants is considerable and customers have specific needs that must be individually discussed between them and the manufacturer, the configurator is a means of not only visualizing the product but also a way to relieve the manufacturer from a lot of repetitive inquiries (product dimensions, whether the product will fit somewhere – the possibility of an AR model and testing directly in the space).

Since creating a configurator is a costly affair, my vision is to provide this service to smaller companies step by step, thus keeping the development costs small, continually adding products and fine-tuning it. Smaller businesses often have more outdated websites, therefore part of our product would be the ability to deliver it bundled with a website.

The entire configurator would be implemented in open-source tools for transparency purposes, so that the customer would be able to see the individual “components” themselves, as each configurator would be tailor-made for them. I also want to offer my customers the option of the configurator maintenance, meaning that if they add, remove or modify existing products we will update the configurator to current product offer of the customer.
