We focus on the design of an unmanned glider with motorized propulsion capability using an electric motor and batteries with solar panels to recharge them. With the weight saved and the ability to fly continuously, there is room for the placement of specific research equipment – radar, camera, thermal imager. Unlike other projects, ours deals with the use of affordable materials and technologies (3D printing, microcontrollers, servo motors, solar recharging, flashlights) to build an unmanned glider to perform unmanned flights without the need to land.
