rescueBOOK is an interactive first aid guide using augmented reality, video and 3D images. The procedures for providing first aid are in accordance with the latest 2020 guidelines, the guide is intended for both the lay and professional public. It is not a theoretical book but a practical guide explaining not only “how” but also “why”. Emphasis is placed on life-threatening conditions, rescuscitation using an AED-automatically external defibrillator, in addition to other first aid procedures, the book also contains chapters on how to call the emergency number 155, the operation of emergency medical services, about work and specifications of air rescue, mountain rescue service , water rescue service, canine service and others.
